この本は、先週紹介した「成長の法則」と同じタイプであり、それより前に出された本だ。人生において役立つであろう50のヒントが述べられている。
内容としては、同じことがらを様々な側面から説いている部分があり、頭の中で繰り返していくうちに、擦り込まれていく感じがする。
この本で印象的だったのは、目標達成にむけた自分自身の姿勢について書かれた部分と、後半にあった「壊れていないからといって直す必要がないわけではない」という「破壊と創造」の必要性だ。
自分は、何かを進んで「取り壊して」いるだろうか？何かを始めるときに、敢えて何かを「やめている」だろうか？
そう考えてみると、以外と「壊すこと」「やめること」ってできていない。
現状に満足せず、進んで新しいことにチャレンジしていく。そのときにも上乗せ一辺倒ではなく、何かを変革していくという姿勢を身につけていきたい。
